Jeannie Albrecht, Associate Professor of Computer Science, Ondine Chavoya, Professor of Art and Faculty Fellow of the Davis Center and Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, and Rhon Manigault-Bryant, Associate Dean of the Faculty and Associate Professor of Africana Studies, participated in the Liberal Arts Diversity Officers consortium (LADO) visits to the University of California, Riverside, and San Diego. During the visits, Albrecht, Chavoya, and Manigault-Bryant discussed building a career at a liberal arts college and highlighted current opportunities at LADO institutions. The three also discussed teaching and building a strong research agenda. Faculty and administrators from Gettysburg College also participated. LADO institutions share a commitment to diversifying faculty at institutions of higher education, particularly liberal arts colleges. The trip took place May 8-9.
