Williams participates in LADO trip to the University of Texas at Austin

Gretchen Long, Professor of History and Faculty Fellow of the Davis Center and Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity and Ngonidzashe Munemo, Associate Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean for Institutional Diversity and Equity participated in the Liberal Arts Diversity Officers consortium (LADO) trip to the University of Texas at Austin. During the visit, graduate students and postdocs heard about careers at liberal arts colleges, preparing to enter the job market, and intellectual life at liberal arts institutions. Williams is a founding institution of LADO.  LADO is committed to diversifying faculty at institutions of higher education, particularly liberal arts institutions.  Faculty from Denison, Middlebury, and Lawrence also participated.  The trip took place on September 21.
