VaNatta Ford and Ngonidzashe Munemo participate in LADO trip to Howard University

VaNatta Ford, Assistant Professor of Africana Studies, and Ngonidzashe Munemo, Associate Dean for Institutional Diversity and Equity and Associate Professor of Political Science, participated in the Liberal Arts Diversity Officers consortium (LADO) trip to Howard University.  During the trip, Ford and Munemo discussed building a career at a liberal arts college and building a strong research agenda.  The two also led curriculum vitae consultations with doctoral candidates.  LADO institutions share a commitment to diversifying faculty at institutions of higher education, particularly liberal arts colleges.  Faculty and administrators from Bates College, Bucknell University, Dickinson College, and Wesleyan University also participated.  The trip took place April 13-14 in Washington, D.C.
