The Vice President for Institutional Diversity and Equity, and the Associate Dean for Institutional Diversity, work with the Dean of the Faculty and the chairs of hiring units to foster the building of “a diverse and inclusive community,” throughout the process of faculty recruitment and hiring. We also monitor trends in hiring patterns and in the overall diversity of the Williams College faculty, as well as comparisons with peer institutions (see Faculty Diversity Data on OSPID web site).
