Meet the CEFs
Manny Copeland' 23, she/they. Majoring in Political economy and Studio art, concentrating on Africana studies. Manny is affiliated with QSU, WSU, WWRFC, BSU & Sisterhood.
Ri Garcia '22, they/them. Ri is majoring in Classics and English and is affiliated with QSU and Beyond the Binary. In their final year at Williams, Ri hopes to be able to give back to the community that was instrumental in shaping who they are today.
Rika Nakato '24, she/her/hers. Rika is a political science major and is also affiliated with AASIA and WPSCI. Rika wrote that as a CEF, she hopes to promote a culture of inclusion based on mutual learning and support. Rika is thrilled to be able to interact with so many groups on campus.
Shiara Pyrrhus '23, she/her/hers. Shiara is majoring in English with a concentration on French and Public Health. Shiara is affiliated with the Sisterhood. As a CEF, Shiara aims to help make Williams a better place.
Tina Zheng '24, she/her/hers. Tina is majoring in Environmental Studies and is affiliated with WEC and AASiA. Tina is very excited to work alongside an amazing team of CEFs and have the opportunity to connect to the broader Williams community.
Virginia Ontiveros '22, she/hers. Virginia is majoring in political science and is affiliated with the Law Society. Virginia wrote that she is excited to help make Williams a better place and to learn from the staff of the Davis Center.
Cyrus Naider '23, he/him/his. Cyrus is double majoring in English and WGSS with a concentration in LATS. He's affiliated with the QSU and Beyond The Binary (BTB). As a CEF, Cyrus wants to make Williams aware of the intersecting identities and to make the school a safe space for students. Cyrus loves work that centers on the LGBGQ+ community in some way, and especially aims to make trans students feel supported.
Devika Goel '24. Devika is triple majoring in English, Psychology and WGSS and is affiliated with ISA and the Williams Record. Devika wrote that "after the last year we've had, I'm really excited to meet and work with new people and groups on campus!"
Emily Zhu '24, she/her/hers. Emily is majoring in Biology and Psychology and is affiliated with Matriculate, CASO and OURSTEM+. In her role as CEF, Emily hopes to foster an increased sense of inclusion and equity within campus groups and student organizations alike.
Isabel Carmona, '24, she/her/hers. Isabel is majoring in American Studies and WGSS with a concentration in LATS. Isabel stays busy with her affiliations with NBC, Lehman Board, Cap and Bells, as a tour guide and CEF! As a CEF, Isabel is excited to be involved in working towards increased diversity and accessibility.
Jahnavi Kirtane '24, she/her/hers. Jahnavi is double majoring in American Studies and Environmental Studies and is affiliated with AASIA, RASAN and Williams Sustainable Growers. She is very excited to join the vibrant DC community and to build a more educated and inclusive campus as a CEF.
