Description: Are you curious about the long history of student activism at Williams College? Join the Davis Center and Williams College Special Collections for a session that explores sources in Special Collections that document this dynamic and important history, focusing especially on the efforts of MinCo (Minority Coalition). This event is part of a year-long series, so stay tuned for more! Please feel free to come even if you are unable to stay the whole time. Contact Aly Corey, Associate Director of the Davis Center, with any questions. Among other materials documenting student activism and action on campus, there will be a collection of Black Yearbooks to peruse at this session.

Notes: To help preserve fragile documents, please do not bring pens, food, or liquids into the special collections instruction room. There are lockers outside the room where you can securely lock your belongings during the session. Thank you!

Accessibility Information: The Special Collections Reading Room is Room 452 on the 4th Floor of Sawyer Library. There is an elevator to access this floor. After you’ve entered the main entrance of Sawyer (level 3), go past the circulation desk and turn left before you reach the main staircase. The elevator will be on your left about two thirds of the way toward the end of the building. There are all-gender restrooms on the third floor of Sawyer.
