22-23 HOW TO: in person shopping

  1. PLAN event w/ group leadership at least a week in advance

  2. BE READY TO ANSWER THE “5-Ws”

    1. WHO-are you buying for

    2. WHEN– time and date is stuff needed

    3. WHERE– will it be delivered? To 10 Jenness Dr. Williamstown, MA 01267–all pcard purchases are delivered to DC center.

    4. WHAT– exactly is to be purchased and about how much it’ll cost/what your budget is.  

    5. WHY- is this purchase helpful for your group and its community engagement/education/service goals, objectives or visions

  3. Talk to your advisor, give them the 5ws and await their input

  4. The treasurer needs to fill out DC FUNDING FORM

  5. Await a response from DC team member

  6. work with DC program coordinator to set up time for PCARD PICKUP

  7. Go shopping, get what is needed–be mindful of your budget

  8. IMMEDIATELY take a picture of the receipt for your group’s records

  9. Put ALL receipts in the pouch, return said pouch with PCARD to DC ASAP

  10. ADD EXPENSES/DEBITS TO GROUPS ONE-STOP FILE
