Creating Connections Consortium (C3) Summit

During the C3 summit, The Transformative Power of Race in the Academy: Measuring Change, Charting Futures, faculty, students and administrators from institutions from across the country will gather to participate in discussions and panels as we think critically about issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in the academy.  This year’s conference builds on the 2015 C3 Summit held at Bates College, Practicing Communities: The Transformative Power of Race in the Academy.  Williams is a founding member of the C3, and Denise Buell, Dean of the Faculty, and Leticia S. E. Haynes, Vice President of Institutional Diversity and Equity, are members of the Executive Committee. Other members of C3 include: Bates College, Columbia University, Connecticut College, Middlebury College, University of California at Berkeley; University of Chicago; and the University of Michigan.

Registration will open on March 1 and run through April 10, 2017.  Please email Carrie Greene with cancellations. (Please also remember to cancel your accommodations.) If booking in one of the C3 room blocks, please reserve rooms by March 21 and reference the summit in order to get the corporate rate. After March 21, rooms will be released to the general public. You will find full information on travel and lodging here.  Please email Carrie Greene with questions.
